With global warming issue, in fact it’s not an issue anymore, we should be live more environment friendly. And you can start it from your house. There’re many ways to make your house save more energy. Here’re some of them.

First, clean the coils on the refrigerator. This will free your refrigerator coil from dust, debris, and hair, which makes your refrigerator work twice than normal, which is consume more energy.  Second, you can do some change on your furnace. You need to frequently change the filter in your furnace. When the weather become colder, you use furnace more often and with clogged filter, your furnace will work harder than normal. And if your thermostat located outside your house, you can remove it inside, so it won’t affect by the draft which makes your furnace works more. Next thing that you need to do is change the weather stripping around your house. This ways will save your energy more than 30%. Use your windows blinds wisely. On the colder days, open it, so the solar heat can comes in and makes your house warmer, instead using the heater.

And the last thing that you need to do is save your electrical energy. You can do this by reducing the used of hairdryer, computer with using notebook, use energy save lighting and many more. If you do it, you won’t only save more energy, but also money.
